For this concert, he will reunite with his colleagues from Les Vents Français. On the programme of festivities, a rare whirlwind of a Sinfonia by Haydn’s friend, the Neopolitan composer Cimarosa. Franz Danzi will provide a link between classicism and romanticism, and of course there is Mozart, with two choice pieces, a famous sinfonia concertante for virtuoso performers and another entitled Paris, written with the express aim of charming the discerning music lovers of the City of Lights.
