BOARD OF THE FONDATION DU THEATRE DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES

Chairman Pierre-Alain de Malleray – Founding members Aline Floriel-Destezet, Judith Pisar, Jean-Marc Daillance, Pierre-Alain de Malleray – Eminent personalities  Dominique Senequier, Philippe Peyrat  - Donors representative Dominique Mine – Théâtre des Champs-Élysées representative Julia Neugebauer
“With its unique history, architecture, business model and multidisciplinary programming, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées is a one-of-a-kind place. It’s a venue that welcomes the world's greatest performers. It's also a venue on a human scale, where everyone feels a little at home. With three other co-founders who are loyal supporters of the Theatre, we decided to set up a foundation that would allow us greater flexibility in collecting donations and allocating them to the Theatre’s artistic project. It would also enable us to extend our patronage internationally and build new projects together for years to come.
Join us in our strong ambition for the Théâtre des Champs- Élysées, based on the artistic excellence and eclectic programming that have always been the hallmarks of our Theatre. We are also committed to diversifying our audiences and to make the performing arts accessible to as many people as possible.”
Pierre-Alain de Malleray

patron's circle trips

Every year, patrons of the Cercle du Théâtre des Champs-Elysées discover a new destination for an extended weekend. It's a privileged time of opera, dance or ballet performances, exclusive private visits, meetings with artists and convivial moments between members of the Cercle. After Munich, Milan and Hamburg, the Cercle flew to Barcelona in December 2023.

The Theatre des Champs-Elysees creates its own Foundation under the aegis of the Fondation de France

Its mission will be to make performing arts accessible to as many people as possible, and to support all the Théâtre's artistic, cultural and heritage activities, in France and around the world.

Since its creation, the history of the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées has been shaped by several outstanding figures, whether artists, directors, or patrons, all committed to bringing music and dance to life in this emblematic venue. Today, the Patrons Circle is an essential force in the service of transmission, sharing and excellence. With this new Foundation, we will continue to write the history of this place and create the Theatre of tomorrow!

Launch of the partnership between the Patrons'Circle and Juvenilia

A year ago, the Cercle des Mécènes du Théâtre des Champs-Elysées launched the Ambassadors Programme, enabling the Cercle's Young Patrons to meet up at concerts and invite their friends to share their passion for classical music.

To go even further and still with the idea of encouraging encounters between young music lovers, the Cercle des Mécènes is launching a new partnership with Juvenilia this season.

From 27 to 30 October 2022, some thirty Members of the Patrons Circle flew to Hamburg, one of Europe's most beautiful cities and the historic capital of classical music and ballet. Here is a retrospective on this journey combining tradition and modernity.
