Véronique Gens and Sandrine Piau, who were partners in the early days of the Baroque revival and ardent advocates of French music and rare repertoires, come together for a recital of sublime forgotten pages from the French Grand Siècle of the late 18th century.  The solo and duet arias, unearthed by the teams of the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, are entrusted to the expert orchestra of Julien Chauvin at the head of the Concert de la Loge.  Rare or unpublished works by Grétry, Gluck, Monsigny, Gossec, Sacchini, Dalayrac, Edelmann... are brought back to life thanks to the talent and elegance of our two great women of French song.
