At the court of a frivolous Duke, his jester mocks the fathers and husbands of the women he has seduced, certain that his own daughter is safe from such misadventures. But he doesn't know that the Duke has already set eyes on her... Ingeniously imagined as a work within a work, this Rigoletto for young audiences uses theatrical magic and acrobats to soften the original darkness of Verdi's opera. It will also be an opportunity to meet up with director Manuel Renga and his team, who delighted us at the beginning of the year with their Elixir of Love, which was unfortunately deprived of its young audience last winter but is now available on DVD.
