Atelier Jeune Public Comme au cinéma

German viola player Tabea Zimmermann excels both as a solist and chamber player. As a renowned performer of contemporary repertoire and chamber music, today she joins Spanish pianist Javier Perianes for a trip to the Iberian Peninsula. After a gentle start with Schubert and Brahms, they move south with Falla’s Seven Popular Spanish Songs which reflect her long-held enthusiasm for the popular repertoire, and Le Grand Tango by Piazzolla, the uncontested master of the bandoneon, adapted here for the viola
