Atelier Jeune Public Comment ça marche ?

Maxim Emelyanychev (who has just celebrated his thirtieth birthday) is a familiar face on avenue Montaigne. For several seasons now, he has been performing Handel with his Il Pomo d’Oro orchestra and top-flight performers: Rodelinda, Serse, Agrippina with Joyce DiDonato, Max Emanuel Cenčić, Karina Gauvin, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, and Franco Fagioli, to name but a few. This morning he is presenting a programme of Haydn and Mozart at the helm of his other orchestral formation, the Nizhny-Novgorod Youth Symphony Orchestra. He is going back to his roots as he was born the son of a trumpeter father and vocalist mother in this town where the Volga meets the Oka. Music is clearly in his genes.
