Christian Blackshaw Le meilleur interprète de Mozart au monde ?
Le pianiste britannique de 73 ans est le secret le mieux gardé du monde pianistique. Portrait d'un musicien hors du commun, avant son premier récital en France.
A signature programme for Christian Blackshaw, one of the most dazzling and unique British pianists.
Mozart Sonata No. 14 K. 457
Schumann Fantaisie Op. 17
Schubert Sonata No. 21 D. 960
The finest British pianist of his generation has never actually given a recital in France yet. The first British pianist to have studied at the Leningrad Conservatoire and a student of the legendary Clifford Curzon, Christian Blackshaw had a stellar early career before withdrawing from the concert stage when his wife passed away. He made a comeback in his sixties in 2010, in London initially then in major venues in the United States, Europe and Russia. He opens the piano season at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées with a signature programme which is guaranteed to be a very special event.
